The NAACP is the oldest, largest, most respected and effective civil rights organization in this nation. The NAACP has improved the social, economic, and political conditions for African Americans and other minorities more than any other organization in the history of America. We are pleased that in 1928 our Branch was chartered in the City and County of San Francisco.

The 2018 theme is “Don’t Hate. Vote!” The featured guest speakers, are the outstanding Kamala Harris, junior United States Senator from California, serving since 2017 and Congresswoman Maxine Moore Waters, who has served as a U.S. House of Representative since 1990.

“I was raised to be an independent woman, not the victim of anything.” --Kamala Harris

“Black women are going to have to take more leadership. I think we are prepared because we bring a tenaciousness with us. We do not fear losing friends, allies, or jobs.”   --Congresswoman Maxine Moore Waters

Your financial support will assist us in our efforts to provide service to citizens in the City and County of San Francisco. Considering the long-term relationship that we share with your organization, I hope you will take this opportunity to support this event.
